Map of Ukraine

NOTE: This information has not been updated and represents the country statistics as they stood in 2004.

All the information here comes from one of these three websites: Peace Corps, CountryWatch, or the CIA World Factbook. The map was copied directly from the CIA World Factbook, and is in the public domain.

I've also included a link to Lonley Planet, which is a really great source of information (and very readable), especially for travelers.

Ukraine was the first successor nation of the Soviet Union to invite the Peace Corps to establish a program on its territory. Ukraine is part of the region the Peace Corps calls "Central Europe and Eastern Asia." Wondering where else the Peace Corps opperates in the Eastern European and Central Asian region? See here for a map.
